Nothing makes me feel better than baking something special for someone I care about. Making something beautiful out of sugar is my favorite way to express my creativity.

I fell into sugar decorating almost on accident, but it’s been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Whether it’s cupcakes and cakes, or cookies and chocolate covered Oreos, I love being able to stretch my imagination for new and exciting ways of creating beautiful desserts to celebrate, decorate dessert tables, be the centerpiece of parties, commemorate special occasions, or simply make someone feel special. That there are new trends and techniques that are always sprouting up means there’s always something new to learn, and I love experimenting in my kitchen until something fun and delicious is made.

 

PRINCESS FAVORITES

FAVORITE COOKIE: Oreos all day! I can’t get enough of these chocolate wonders.

FAVORITE ICE CREAM: I go back and forth between cookies and cream (see above!) and mint chocolate chip.

FAVORITE CAKE FLAVOR: Vanilla. It’s classic and never goes out of style.

FAVORITE FILLING: You can never go wrong with a beautiful chocolate ganache.

FAVORITE DECORATING ITEM: Sprinkles! They make everything more festive.

FAVORITE DESSERT TABLE ITEM: Custom decorated sugar cookies work with every theme and celebration.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TO BAKE FOR: Halloween! There’s something about scary decorations. St. Patrick’s Day is a close second.
